The Member/Owner is entitled to the following:*
- Details of the franchise and his/her relationship with the Club or Property. Clubs/Properties must mandate intermediaries for the products they sell;
- Details of the transaction including purchase price, finance charges, annual subscriptions and related charges.
- The implication of cancellation of the contract or membership.

The Member / Owner has a 10 (ten) business days grace period during which time their contract, or an amendment to their contract, may be cancelled.
Always complete contractual information yourself to fully review the information contained therein.
Complete and accurate information is always required.
Request further details or information when in doubt.
Always thoroughly read through all documents before signing them.
Read through the contract to ensure that it conforms to your expectations or understanding of what the contract entails.
Keep written documentation of your correspondence and dealings with the franchise or representative of your Club or Property.
Some general guidelines to follow when buying Timeshare or Holiday Ownership Products
Please read through the application form before completing it yourself. Should you have any queries, discuss with the Club or Property before signing.
Please insist on receiving a copy of your contract.
After signing the contract or summary, should you be dissatisfied, you have a 10 (ten) business days grace period to cancel it.
Ensure that your premiums are paid on time every month. Whether you are paying by debit order, stop order or other, this remains your responsibility. Unpaid premiums may result in the termination of your membership, or you may be denied any right to occupy.
Retain your proof of payment.
Please keep a record in writing of all dealings with salespersons or administrators at the Club or Property.
The Ombudsman for Vacation Ownership resolves disputes between Clubs/Timeshare Properties and their Members/Owners. Please write to us should you be unable to resolve a dispute with your Club/Property.
